STRATEGI ADAPTASI PETANI DALAM MELAKUKAN TRANSFORMASI PERTANIAN DARI IP 100 KE IP 200 PADA LAHAN SUBOPTIMAL DI KAMPUNG SAMBI REJO KABUPATEN BANYUASIN
Suboptimal land (LSO) is land that naturally has low productivity and fragile with various constraints due to inherent factors (soil, parent material) and external factors due to extreme climates. The objectives of this research activity are (1) Describe suboptimal land use by farmers at Sambi Rejo Village Banyuasin Regency; (2) Analyzing the factors that influence farmers in carrying out agricultural transformation from IP 100 to IP 200 on suboptimal land at Sambi Rejo Village Banyuasin Regency; (3) Analyzing farmers' adaptation strategies in carrying out agricultural transformation from IP 100 to IP 200 on suboptimal land at Sambi Rejo Village Banyuasin Regency. This research was carried out in November 2021 until finish. The suboptimal land type in this study is the lowland swamp land which is used as best as possible by the farmers. Factors that influence the research include age, last education, number of dependents, area of arable land, length of stay and income as internal factors, then there are external factors which include the length of time you joined the farmer group and the weather. Based on the analysis of the Grand Strategy matrix, it shows that the strategy carried out by farmers in Sambi Rejo Village is in a very profitable position or quadrant I (the x-axis has a positive value and the y-axis has a positive value) is an area that shows the business is in a strong position and has opportunities the big one.
