This study aims to: 1) analyze differences in productivity and income between maize farmers using hybrid and non-hybrid seeds. 2) analyze the factors that affect the production of hybrid and non-hybrid maize. This research was conducted in Mulia Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. Data collection was carried out in June – Completed. The research method used in this study is a survey method. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The sampling method used in this study is the disproportionate stratified random sampling method, with a sample of 60 farmers, namely 30 farmers using hybrid seeds and 30 farmers using non-hybrid seeds. The data processing method used in this study uses the normality test, the Independent Sample T-Test, and the Coub-Douglass production function. The results showed that the number of farmers who used hybrid seeds was 70% while farmers who used non-hybrid seeds were 30%, from the total proportion of the use of these seeds to increase corn production in Mulia Sari Village, a special understanding of the use of production factors is needed starting from the use of The factors that affect the production of hybrid corn are the number of seeds, the amount of urea fertilizer, and the amount of sp36 fertilizer while the factors that affect the production of non-hybrid corn are the amount of npk fertilizer, the number of workers outside the family, and farming experience. The income of farmers using hybrid seeds is significantly higher than the income of farmers using non-hybrid seeds, with the income of farmers using hybrid seeds of Rp. 15,725,406/lg/mt and the income of farmers using non-hybrid seeds of Rp. 10,196,690,34/lg/ mt with a difference of 35.16%
