Preferensi Konsumen dan Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Konsumen Terhadap Pembelian Gula Kristal Putih 1 dan Gula Kristal Putih 2 di Kota Palembang Consumer Preference and Consumers Influencing Factors on Purchasing of White Crystal Sugar 1 and White Crystal Sugar 2 at Palembang 〖Muhammad Aditya Rafli〗^1, Yunita^2 Program Studi Agribisnis, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sriwijaya Jalan Palembang Prabumulih Km. 32, Indralaya Ogan Ilir 30662 Abstract The purposes of this study were : (1) to describe the characteristics of consumers who bought premium sugar and local sugar in Palembang, (2) to analyze the factors that affected of the demand for premium sugar and local sugar in Palembang, and (3) to examine the attributes of consumer preferenced in purchasing premium sugar and local sugar in Palembang. Preference theory is used to analyze the level of customer satisfaction. Premium sugar is sugar of the highest quality in accordance with SNI of sugar. Local sugar is sugar with quality in accordance with SNI of sugar. The method that had been used in this research is a case study method random sampling. This study was done in December 2021 which carried 31 customers premium sugar and 23 customers of local sugar. This research used chi square analysis and Likert scale with validity and reliability. The results showed the dominant characteristic of premium sugar respondents in Diamond Supermarket were mostly female who has Rp3.000.000/month, recent education graduates, and types of private employees work.
