This study aims to determine the impact of the use of mechanization on the income of rice farmers in Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency. This research was carried out from November 2021 to completion in Rambutan District. This study uses a descriptive method with presentation in tabulated form. The parameters used in this study are the comparison of the use of mechanization and conventional, the number of tools and machines available, and the impact of using machine tools without machine tools on farmers' income. The results showed that the average income of rice farming using agricultural machinery was Rp. 6,975,000/ha per growing season and not using agricultural machinery, which was Rp. 9,797,000/ha per growing season. This program is to increase the Crop Index (IP) in Rambutan District with the help of an effective machine tool. The efficiency of the average income of rice farming using machine tools and not using machine tools in the study area is 1.89 and 1.75. This shows that the use of agricultural machinery in agricultural processing, from tillage to harvesting, is more effective than processing without using machineries.
