PENGARUH PEMBERIAN AgNO3 PADA BIBIT PADI (Oryza sativa) DALAM CEKAMAN TERENDAM
This research was conducted to evaluate application AgNO3 compounds as ethylene inhibitor on rice seedlings under submerged stress conditions. The research was conducted on the campus of Sriwijaya Indralaya University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Cultivation From November – December 2020. The study used rice varieties of Inpari 30 and Ciherang with 180 plants for each variety so that this research used 360 plants in total while the doses of AgNO3 consisted of. A0 = 0 ppm AgNO3, A1 = 100 ppm AgNO3, A2 = 200 ppm AgNO3, A3 = 300 ppm AgNO3, A4 = 400 ppm AgNO3. Parameters observed included plant height, root length, leaf greenness, leaf area, dry weight of roots, stems, leaves and total dry weight, root shoot ratio, leaf area ratio, net assimilation rate and relative growth rate. Based on the results of the research, inpari 30 variety had a higher adaptability than Ciherang variety as seen from several growth parameters (plant height, root length, leaf greenness, root dry weight, stem dry weight and total dry weight). Based on the results of plant growth analysis, AgNO3 was sufficient to increase growth for the better seen from the relative growth rate, net assimilation rate and leaf area ratio.
