IDENTIFIKASI FILLING GIGI MENGGUNAKAN METODE DETEKSI TEPI ROBERTS
With dental image processing emerging in the case of human identification in forensic science. Dental X-rays have helped effectively to diagnose and detect problems in the teeth. In this study, we will approach to detect dental fillings (fillings) in dental caries on X-Ray Panoramic. Enhancement and segmentation of digital dental x-ray images were performed using robert edge detection. The aim of this is to increase the portion of the tooth extracted from the digital dental x-ray, finding the edges that correspond to the filling of the affected tooth. The process of extracting features, collecting and analyzing image information which is expected to be useful for clinical dental diagnostics and is also a major requirement of medical and other sciences. In this study, the percentage of the program dataset showed that the indicated accuracy of dental filling was 87.93%, the precision value was 88.7% and the sensitivity value was 96.6% from the 116 data tested.
