PENGARUH VERMIKOMPOS TERHADAP SERAPAN N, P, DAN K TANAMAN TOMAT CHERRY (Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme) PADA ULTISOL
Cherry tomato (Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme) is an important vegetable crop that is widely consumed by the community. One of the efforts to increase and optimize the growth of cherry tomato plants is to apply vermicompost fertilizer. Vermicompost is an organic fertilizer that is useful for plant growth because it can increase soil fertility. In cherry tomato plants, to be able to grow optimally, it is necessary to provide N, P, and K nutrients, which are primary nutrients, these nutrients must be used in the right dose. This research was conducted at the ATC Greenhouse and the Chemistry, Biology and Soil Laboratory of Sriwijaya University. This research was conducted from September 2021 to December 2021. This study used a randomized block design with 4 replications with 7 levels of treatment so that 28 experimental units were obtained. The research data were analyzed using ANOVA at the 5% level and further tested with the BNT test, based on the BNT test, it was found that the results of the vermicompost application had a significant effect on the N, P, and K uptake of cherry tomato plant tissues. The results of this study indicate that treatment G (Vermicompost dose 250 g polybag-1) has nutrients in the soil that can meet plant nutrients which are then absorbed by plant roots properly which causes the highest N, P and K uptake of plant tissue to treatment (Control). The results of this study suggested planting cherry tomatoes in Ultisol by giving vermicompost at a dose of 250 g polybag-1, because it was proven to increase the uptake of N, P, and K.
