PENGARUH DERAJAT KELENGKUNGAN SINGKAL YANG DILAPISI PLAT STAINLESS STEEL TERHADAP HASIL PENGOLAHAN TANAH ULTISOL
The research objective was to determine the effect of the culvature of the moldboard plow coated by stainless steel on tillage ultisol soil. The method used in this study was a factorial randomized block design (RAKF) with two treatment factors, namely the angle of curvature of the plow (A) and the singkal layer (B). The degree of singkal curvature factor consists of three levels, namely the treatment of the single curvature angle of 120ᵒ, 130ᵒ, and 140ᵒ. The moalboard coated material factor consists of two treatments, namely singkal coated with stainless steel plate (B2) and singkal without coating (B1). The results showed that the angle of curvature of singkal and the type of singkal coating material significantly affected the results of ultisol soil cultivation, where singkal with a curvature of 140° and coated with stainless steel plate had the lowest average value of soil adhesiveness, namely 31.89 g, and singkal with curvature of 120° (B1) has an average value of the height of the plowed land, the working width of the plow and the width of the plowed land, it shows that the singkal curvature affects the height of the plowed land, the working width of the plow and the width of the plowed land.
