During rearing, catfish produce waste that pollutes the environment if it is disposed of directly into the environment. One way to reduce environmental pollution by the rest of catfish farming is to use wastewater as a medium for A. platensis. Catfish culture wastewater contains organic matter that is good for A. platensis culture because the aquaculture waste contains nutrients needed for the growth of A. platensis. In the cultivation of A. platensis stirring is important to avoid precipitation, but continuous stirring is very inefficient. This is related to the relatively large cost of using electricity. This study aims to determine the efficient stirring time on the growth of A. platensis. This study used 3 treatments with different stirring frequencies, namely treatment 1 stirring for 24 hours day-1 (P1), treatment 2 stirring for 12 hours day-1 (P2), and control using aeration for 24 hours day-1 (P0). After the biomass was harvested, the filtered water flow into the catfish rearing container. Parameters observed were daily density of A. platensis, daily growth, reduction of nitrogen content, phycocianin yield, business analysis, and feed conversion ratio for catfish rearing using wastewater treatment from biomass filtration of A. platensis. The results of the specific growth rate of A. platensis in this study were (P0) 23.625±2.066% day-1, (P1) 21.162±4.217% day1 , (P2) 21.105±4.821% day-1. The maximum density at (P0) of 0.645 g L-1 was achieved on day 8, while (P1) was 0,693 g L-1 on day 8 and (P2) 0.690 g L-1 was achieved on day 9. The reduction in nitrogen content was (P0) 98.375±0.725, (P1) 99.161±0.140, (P2) 95.507±2.664. The phycocyanin yield was (P0) 3.868±2.320, (P1) 3.251±1.553, (P2) 3.449±0.836. The ratio (R/C and ROI) can be achieved at (P0) 0.942±0.050 and 0.888±0.051 and -11.166±5.133 (P1) 1.036±0.054 and 3.587±5.493 (P2) 1.057±0.060 and 5.714±5.969, respectively.
