This research aims were to known the effect of hyacinth and water fem compost on glutinous rice growth (Oryza sativa Var Glutinosa) at floating system. This research was carried out at swamp land area in Agricultural Faculty, University of Sriwijaya from September to December 2011. Soil analysis was done in soil Chemical and fertility, agricultural faculty, University of Sriwijaya. Research design method was using Randomized Block Design and if there was a significant difference then least Significant.Dififerent would be carried out. Results showed that hyacinth compost at dosages of 20 ton/ha gave the best result in increasing glotinous rice growts compared to 10 ton ha'1 and 20 ton ha of water fem compost and 10 ton ha 1 of hyacinth compost. It is suggested to do forther research on residue effect on other crop.
