KAPASITAS PRODUKSI BIOGAS DARI CAMPURAN KOTORAN SAPI DAN ECENG GONDOK

The research objective was to determine biogas production capacity from main material of cow dung and Eichhornia crassipes as added subtance. The research was conducted from June 2008 to until February 2010 in Agricultural Workshop of Agricultural Technology Department and Soil Laboratory of Soil Department, Agricultural Faculty of Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. The method used in this research was data analysis of parameters arranged as tabulation. The result showed that biogas production process after three days from four treatments were 3.902 g.h'1 for 10 kg cow dung, 3.531 g.h'1 for mixture of 8 kg cow dung and 2 kg of Eichhornia crassipes, 3.412 g.h'1 for mixture of 7 kg cow dung and 3 kg of Eichhornia crassipes, and 2.989 g.h‘! for mhcture 6 kg cow dung and 4 kg of Eichhornia crassipes. It could be concluded that the highest biogas production was obtained from 10 kg of pure cow dung
