METODE PELEPASAN KULIT ARI KEDELAI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN RUBBER ROLL

The objective of this research was to identify and to test the rubber roli as a released method of soybean epidermis. The research was designed as a split split plot design with three treatments and three replications. The first treatment was five levels of rpm, the second treatment was three levels of roller distance, and the third treatment was three levels of soaking time period. The parameters were damaged soybean seeds, loosed husk, water content, softness of soybeans, rpm, roller speed, and thickness of soybean. The results showed that the differences in rpm, roller distance, and the interaction among rpm and roller distance as well as soaking treatments had significant effect on damaged of soybean seeds. Differences in rpm, roller distance as well as interaction between different rpm and roller distance roller had significant effect on epidermis. The best treatment was found fforn the interaction between the 500 : 540 rpm difference and distance roller of 0.35 cm had produced the highest release in term of epidermis and the least damage in term of soybean seeds
