The main purpose of this research is to identify the effects of addition of urea in the amoniation of Kumpai Oil grass on fiber fraction. The research was done using two stage. The first stage was Kumpai Oil grass {Hymenachne amplexicaulis) amoniation for 21 days. The next step is the nutrition value analyzed in the Laboratorium Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak Universitas Sriwijaya. This research uses the complete Randomized Design with includes 4 treatments and 4 repelitions are A (Control), B (kumpai grass + 2% urea), C (kumpai grass +4% urea), D (kumpai grass +6% urea) according to the Kumpai Oil grass dry weight. The parameters observed are the ADF, NDF (Neutral Detergent Fiber), Sellulose, Hemisellulose and Lignin. The result of this research gives a good prognosis that the addition of urea 4% in the amoniation of Kumpai Oil Grass helps reduce the content of ADF (39,42%), NDF(57,46%), Selulosa( 12,86%), Hemiselulosa( 18,02%) and Lignin(2,62%).
