The secondary data regarding the production of CPO consisted of the value of free fatty acid content, moisture content, impurities and yield levels. The secondary data were obtained from laboratory. The research showed that sorting process for palm fresh fruit bunch in the factory was perfomed based on Kepmentan No. 395/Kpts/OT. 140/11/2005. However, the exception to that Kepmentan is the fact that the sorting is not done randomly at least 5% of the incoming truck, but randomly at 20%. The priority is the procedure of fresh fruit bunches sorting followed by fruit maturity and the harvesting procedures. The next criteria is that the fresh fruit bunches should reach the processing plant less than 24 hours after harvested, sorting was performed by the employee along with farmers’ representative, fresh fruit bunches weight should not be less than 3 kg,no empty fruit bunches and there is no long-stem bunches. Based the sorting that has been done, the quality of crude palm oil produced in 2011 has fulfilled the manufacturer’s Standard except the yield which is under the qualification on of SNI 23%.
