The objective of this research is to determine the effect of lysine amino acid on Arabian chicks (Golden brakel kriel) performance on phase I fed with synthetic lysine amino acid in basal diet. This research was held on Balai Pembibitan Ternak Unggul Sapi Dwiguna dan Ayam (BPTU) Sembawa, Banyuasin for 2 months. This research used completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 4 replications. They were Po (100% basal diet), Pi (100% basal diet + 0,010% lysine), P2 (100% basal diet + 0,015% lysine), P3 (100% basal diet + 0,020% lysine), and P4 (100% basal diet + 0,025% lysine).Feed consumption, egg weight and feed efficiency were observed as parameters. The research showed that addition of lysine amino acid had non significant effect on feed consumption, egg weight and efficiency of Arabian chick fed (Golden brakel kriel) production phase I. It was concluded that addition of lysine amino acid as amount of 0,025% level did not have significant effect on Arabian chicks (
