PENGARUH BERBAGAI DOSIS MOLASSES TERHADAP KANDUNGAN PROTEIN KASAR, LEMAK KASAR, SERAT KASAR, KADAR AIR, DAN PH PADA SILSE JERAMI JAGUNG (Zea masy L.)
The objective of this research was to know the best level of using molasses and change of nutritive value of com straw silage. This research was done in two processes. The first process was producing com straw silage with in 21 days from April 28lh 2005 until May 19ai 2005 in Laboratorium Dasar Bersama, Program Studi Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya. The second process was analyzed the nutritive value of com silage in Laboratorium Nutrisi Ternak Ruminansia and Kimia Makanan, Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Padjajaran, Bandung. This research used Complete Randomized Design, include: TO (control): T1 (com straw 1 kg + molasses 3%): T2 (com straw 1 kg + molasses 6%): T3 (com straw 1 kg + molasses 9%): T4 (com straw I kg + molasses 12%), with four times replications. The parameters examined were water contain, crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, and pH. The result of this research showed that the treatment resulted significantly differences only to crude protein and pH but crude fat, crude fiber, and water contain resulted no differences. The conclusion of this research was treatment by addition molasses 9% gave the best result in com straw silage.
