The Methyl Acetate Manufacturing Plant with a capacity of 100,000 tons/year is planned to be established in 2026 in an industrial area, Ciagel Village, Kibin District, Serang Regency, Banten Province with an estimated area of 2 Ha. Patent No. US10287233B2 with the process of carbonylation of dimethyl ether to form the product Methyl Acetate. The reactor used is a fixed bed reactor that operates at a temperature of 230oC and a pressure of 99 atm. The form of the company used in this factory design is a Limited Liability Company with a line and staff organizational structure, led by the president director with 151 factory employees. Based on the results of the economic analysis, the Methyl Acetate plant is declared feasible to be established because it has fulfilled various economic parameter requirements, including: • Investment Cost = US$ 25,982,275.82 • Annual sales revenue = US$ 273,217,538.02 • Production cost per year = US$ 247,985,297.93 • Annual Cash Flow = US$ 19,672,297.10 • Pay Out time = 1.41 years • Rate of return on investment (ROR) = 67.98% • Discounted Cash Flow –ROR = 74.21% • Break Even Point = 37.78 % • Service Life = 11 years
