ANALISIS OVERALL EQUIPMENT EFFECTIVENESS (OEE) EXCAVATOR BACKHOE PADA PENGUPASAN OVERBURDEN DI PT TUNAS JAYA PERKASA PIT U2-10 KABUPATEN TANAH LAUT KALIMANTAN SELATAN
The availability of tools and lost working time are the main issues for every mining company to improve the efficiency and performance of mining activities. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a metric for measuring the performance of equipment or a production system by measuring three main ratios, namely availability, performance, and quality. The analysis is carried out by detecting the factors that cause lost time and their effect on production time to detect an opportunity to increase equipment production. This study analyzes the performance of the tools used for mining operations at PT Tunas Jaya Perkasa Pit U2-10, namely the backhoe excavator which consists of 6 units, namely 2 Komatsu PC400 units, 2 Hitachi ZX470 units and 2 CAT349DL units. Data collection is done by direct observation of the time loss that occurs in each time component in the tool cycle time. Secondary data is taken from the fleet activity monitoring sheet by the Production Department and PT Tunas Jaya Perkasa Data Center. The final results obtained that the excavator backhoe OEE ratio of EX 810, EX 815, EX 851, EX 853, EX 856, EX 858 was 62.29%, respectively; 66.09%; 61.57%; 72.57%; 79.55%; 85.33% and after improvement it increased to 73.97%; 76.81%; 73.58%; 78.08%; 81.85%; and 88.54%. The biggest performance improvement opportunities are found in the availability and performance factors caused by equipment failure, idle time, weather, loading queue time, doing P2H and backhoe unproductive maneuvering time.
