PENGARUH PEMBERIAN BAKTERI ASAL RAWA KANDIDAT PROBIOTIK DALAM PAKAN UNTUK MENCEGAH INFEKSI BAKTERI AEROMONAS HYDROPHILA PADA IKAN GABUS (CHANNA STRIATA)
NYAYU CITRA Effect of Bacterial Probiotic Candidates From Swamp to Prevent Infection of Aeromonas hydrophila on Striped Snakehead (Channa striata) (Supervised by ADE DWI SASANTI and MARINI WIJAYANTI). Probiotics are microorganisms that have the ability to modify the composition of bacteria in the digestive tract of aquatic animals. Probiotics are used as feed supplements, one of which can improve the health of the host. Therefore, it can be used to prevent of Motile Aeromonas Septicemia (MAS). This study aims to determine the effect of swamp bacteria on feed to prevent bacterial infection of Aeromonas hydrophila in striped snakehead. The research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of P0 (control), P1 (Bacillus sp.) (106 CFU/ml) 10 ml/kg feed, P2 (Streptomyces sp.) (106 CFU/ml) 10 ml/kg feed, P3 (Baillus sp.) (106 CFU/ml) 5 ml/kg feed and (Streptomyces sp.) (106 CFU/ml) 5 ml/kg feed. The parameters observed include calculation of bacterial population, prevalence, growth, survival rate and water quality of snakehead fish. The value of survival, absolute weight growth and feed efficiency in snakehead fish treated with a combination of bacteria (P3) produced significantly different than other treatments (P0, P1, and P2), produced the lowest prevalence of 2,38 %.
