PENGARUH PEMBERIAN KAPUR DOLOMIT DAN PUPUK UREA TERHADAP KADAR HARA NITROGEN PADA TANAMAN PADI (Oryza sativa L.) DI TANAH GAMBUT
This study aims to determine the effect of dolomite lime and urea fertilizer on plant nitrogen uptake on peat planted with rice plants in various different growth phases. The hypothesis in this study is that the combination of dolomite lime treatment at a dose of 10 tons/ha and urea fertilizer at a dose of 125 kg/ha can increase nitrogen uptake in rice plants on peat soil. This research was conducted at the ATC Greenhouse, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, from March to June 2020. Analysis of plant nitrogen uptake was carried out at the ATC Greenhouse, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. This research was carried out from March to June 2020. Analysis of nitrogen uptake and soil reaction (pH) was carried out at the Chemistry, Biology and Soil Fertility Laboratory, Soil Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. The design used in this study was a completely randomized factorial design (RALF) with two factors, namely dolomite lime and urea fertilizer. The results showed that the best dose of dolomite lime and urea fertilizer was 10 tons/ha for dolomite lime and 250 kg/ha for urea fertilizer, with this combination of doses producing the highest nitrogen uptake with an average value of 8.25% for rice plants in the soil. peat. As for suggestions that can be made from this research, namely, it is necessary related to nitrogen uptake, by prioritizing aspects of different combination treatments to get optimal results, for example, it can be replaced with rice husks and livestock manure.
