Inventarisation insect pest on tomato plants (Solonum lycopersicuin L.) in agricultural land Kerinjing Village, Sub-district North Dempo, Pagaralam, South Sumatera has been done in March 2014 until May 2014, identifying insect pests was done jn Laboratory of Animai Taxonomy, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Sriwijaya. This research aims to identify and know about insect pests on tomato plants (Solanum fycopersicum L.) agricultural land Kerinjing Village, Sub-district North Dempo, Pagaralam, South Sumatera. Process of collecting insect pests samples conducted using a method of direct observation (browse engineering), Pitfall trap, Yellow trap, and Light trap. Based on Identification that has been done, acquired 3 ordo, 4 the family and 8 genus insects pests that are consists of four genus stadia larva insect pests namely Spodoptera, Plusia, Helliothis, Agrotis, and four genus of insect pests stadia adult (imago) which is Bemisia, Bactrocera, Liriomyza, and Agrotis moth.
