IMPLEMENTASI UNITED NATIONS CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD (UNCRC) DI INDONESIA (STUDI KASUS: DALAM PENANGGULANGAN KEKERASAN TERHADAP ANAK DI PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN 2017-2020)
Violence against children is an act committed by an individual against a person who has not reached the age of 18 years. The Convention on the Rights of the Child exists to provide protection for children, especially in acts of violence. Several countries including Indonesia participated in ratifying the Convention through Presidential Decree No. 36 of 1990 and then strengthened through Law no. 23 of 2002. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method by looking at the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in Indonesia, especially in dealing with acts of violence against children in South Sumatra. Through the concept of International Regime Implementation which states that the implementation of a regime can be seen from three dimensions, which are International Law, National Law, and Administrative Act. Through these dimensions, it can be seen that the answer from this research is the implementation of the convention through several laws, regional regulations, and other supporting programs
