This research is entitled “The Communication Pattern of the Indonesian Forum for the Environment (WALHI) South Sumatera during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The purpose of this study is how the process of communication patterns of the Walhi Sumsel organization during the Covid-19 pandemic era, as well as what problems and obstacles faced by the South Sumatran Walhi during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses theories related to organizational communication and organizational communication dimensions and uses qualitative research methods with data obtained from four informants consisting of main informants and supporting informants. The data collection method used in-depth observation interviews, literature study, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, the organizational communication pattern formed within the South Sumatra Walhi organization that takes place in the organization is vertical communication. The main obstacles in the communication of the Walhi Sumsel organization during the Covid-19 pandemic were technical barriers and behavioral barriers.
