FOODSTAGRAMMING MINUM CANTIK DI STARBUCKS PADA MAHASISWA FISIP UNSRI KAMPUS PALEMBANG
Foodstagramming is a term used by Instagram users to describe an activity to post photos of food. With the hashtag #foodstagram, they classify photos related to food. Then the object that sometimes becomes foodstagramming or foodstagram is Starbucks, a place where they serve coffee drinks as their mainstay drink, but the price offered is not cheap for coffee drinks from Starbucks. This study will analyze how foodstagramming “Minum Cantik (drinks pretty)” at Starbucks for students of FISIP UNSRI Palembang campus. The author will see how these sources do foodstagramming or foodstagram and with the reasons for what they do and what the results are. This study will use Jean Baudrillard's theory, namely hyperreality, a theory that will see how the construction of an object into the media makes the existing reality or reality into a pseudo in accordance with the will of those who take the object and cover up the existing reality.
