The province of South Sumatra has a very wide potential swamp area for the development of a floating farming system. Floating fields cultivation is a farming technique using rafts as a cultivation solution when conditions are flooded or inundated. Floating cultivation in this study used a raft made of 10 bamboo with a size of 2x1 M. Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) is a type of leaf vegetable that is in great demand by the public and has high economic value. Compound fertilizer (NPK) is one of the inorganic fertilizers that can be used very efficiently in increasing the availability of macro nutrients (N, P, and K). This research has been executed at Embung, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya of University, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, started from June up to August 2021. This study aims to determine the effect of various doses of 16-16-16 NPK compound fertilizer on the growth and yield of pakcoy in a floating cultivation system. The method used in this study was a Randomized Complitely Block Design (RCBD) with 4 treatments. Each treatment was repeated 3 times, so there were 12 treatment units, each treatment consisted of 3 plants. So a total of 36 plants, were cultivated the treatment consisted of, P0 = Control, P1 = 1.5 grams/polybag, P2 = 3 grams/polybag, P3 = 6 grams/polybag. The results of the observations were analyzed by using analysis of variance and 5% LSD ( Least Significant Difference ). Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, leaf greenery level, root length, leaf fresh weight, stem fresh weight, root fresh weight, leaf dry weight, stem dry weight and root dry weight. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that 6 grams of fertilizer/polybag as in P3 treatment was the best treatment for pakcoy growth in floating system
