The purpose of this research is: (1) Describe the business and economic development of BUMDes Panca Makmur which has not been maximal, (2) Describe the form of utilization of BUMDes Panca Makmur funds, and (3) Formulate a strategy for the development of BUMDes Panca Makmur which hopes to become a National Economic Sokoguru. This research was conducted at BUMDes Panca Makmur Panca Tunggal Village, Sungai Lilin District of Musi Banyuasin Regency in November 2021. The research location was chosen deliberately (purposive) with the consideration that in Panca Tunggal Village is one of the villages that have BUMDes that are still actively managed. The research methods used in this research are a mixture of qualitative and quantitative methods. The example withdrawal method used is a simple random sampling method, which is based on stakeholders such as BUMDes Board, Village Government, KUD / Gapoktan Board, PKK Group, Study Group, and Village Community / Farmer. Based on the results of research, the business and economic development of BUMDes Panca Makmur is enough to serve the community, but the business units run are still few, while there are still businesses that can be developed by considering the internal potential of Panca Tunggal Village. Utilization of BUMDes Panca Makmur funds is for BUMDes management, transportation wages, purchase of rubber ant acid material, BUMDes, savings, holiday allowances, cash, and activities or events taken from the allowance of funds every month sourced from bumdes business results fee. The results of data processing using SWOT Analysis for bumdes panca makmur development strategy in order to curb poverty in Panca Tunggal village of Sungai Lilin district of Musi Banyuasin regency are in the second quadrant position by using S-T strategy that uses the power they have to overcome the threat.
