problem that concerns the fulfillment of basic needs in everyday life. The government is currently carrying out various programs to overcome existing poverty, one of which is through the establishment of Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). To find out the existing BUMDes development strategy in overcoming poverty, it can be known through a SWOT analysis. This study aims to (1) describe the business and economic development of BUMDes Rejo Mulyo; (2) Describe the form of utilization of Rejo Mulyo's BUMDes funds; (3) Knowing Rejo Mulyo's BUMDes development strategy which hopes to become a pillar of the National Economy. This research was conducted in Mulyo Rejo Village, Sungai Lilin District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. Data collection was carried out from September to October 2021. The data used were primary data obtained from SWOT data and secondary data obtained from interviews, observations, filling out questionnaires and direct documentation with respondents. The sampling method used is a simple random sample with 30 respondents consisting of BUMDes administrator Rejo Mulyo, Village Apparatus, KUD (Village Unit Cooperatives) members, PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment), KWT (Women Farmer Group), and members of the Youth Organization. The results of the study show that (1) Rejo Mulyo BUMDes has an important role in developing its business and economy; (2) Utilization of BUMDes funds is used for operational management of BUMDes, starting from Box Culvert management to BRILink management; (3) In the BUMDes development strategy in poverty alleviation, Rejo Mulyo BUMDes is in the third quadrant of the SWOT analysis matrix and the strategy used is the W-O strategy
