The purpose of this study is (1) to describe the quality of swamp rice farmers in the village of Ulak Bedil Indralaya District Ogan Ilir. (2) to calculate the dependency ratio in the village of indralaya subdistrict ogan ilir district. (2) (3) to analyze the level of welfare of swamp rice farmers in the village of Ulak Bedil Indralaya District Ogan Ilir. (4) to analyze the influence of dependency ratio numbers on the level of welfare of swamp rice farmers in the village of ulak bedil indralaya district ogan ilir. In the first goal to answer it using the data formula of population dependent burden measured in percentage units, namely the comparison between the number of people who are unproductive and the number of people who belong to productive age. To answer the second purpose using a derifriftive method and presented in the form of frequency tabulation. to answer the third goal using the score range formula. and to answer the fourth goal using simple linear regression analysis. The conclusion obtained is (1) The quality of swamp rice farmers in the village of Ulak Bedil Ogan Ilir regency is classified as a good category. (2) the dependency ratio in the village of Ulak Bedil Ogan Ilir regency is 49.87. (3) The level of welfare of swamp rice farmers in the village of Ulak Bedil Ogan Ilir regency is in the category of prosperity 1. (4) The influence of dependency ratio numbers on the welfare level of swamp rice farmers in the village of ulak bedil ogan ilir regency has a significant value of < 0.05 which means it has an influence on the level of welfare of swamp rice farmers in the village of Ulak Bedil Indralaya Districk Ogan Ilir
