Wuluh star fruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) has a high total acid content and can act as an acidifier that functions to lower the pH of the digestive tract and will affect performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving a solution of starfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) on the performance of native chickens. This research was conducted for 10 weeks in the Experimental Cage of the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study used 100 chickens aged 1 day which were obtained from Japfa PT. Ciomas Adisatwa in Segayam Village, Gelumbang District, Regency. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments consisted of P0 (drinking water), P1 (water + 4% star fruit solution), P2 (water + 6% star fruit solution), P3 (water + 8% star fruit solution), P4 (water + 10% star fruit solution). wuluh). The observed variables included ration consumption, body weight gain, and ration conversion. The results showed that giving starfruit solution with doses of 4%, 6%, 8%, 10%, had no significant effect (P>0.05) on ration consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion and had not been able to affect the performance of native chickens.
