ANALISIS PROFESIONALISME PEGAWAI DI BADAN PENGELOLAAN PAJAK DAERAH KOTA PALEMBANG
This research purpose to determine the professionalism of employee at the Palembang City Tax Management Department. this research is motivated by problems that occur in the field which shows the tendency of employees to delay work often still occurs. the other that, a lack of thoroughness in completing work is still occurs and there is no certainty in completing the SPT. This research uses Siagan's theory of professionalism through three dimensions. creativity, innovation and responsiveness. this study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. the results show that in the dimension of creativity, employees were not yet creative because employees did not have new ideas just working based on existing rule and the employee responsiveness dimension is quite good in responding to complaints, criticism and suggestions from the public. employees at the Regional Tax Management Department of Palembang City are quite professional because employee are not thoroughness yet in their work and their suggestion box is not available or empty. Employees ought can increase professionalism at work, increase the thoroughness in work and paper the suggestion box so that it is always checked.
