STRATEGI PT PUPUK SRIWIDJAJA DALAM PENINGKATAN PENJUALAN UREA KOMERSIL MELALUI KEGIATAN EKPSOR UREA KE THAILAND TAHUN 2012-2015
In the world of exports, PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja is one of the fertilizer companies that has a good image that often conducts international trade activities with other countries, one of which is Thailand. Thailand is a country that is often referred to as the second largest rice exporter in the world but the producrion of urea fertilizer in Thailand is not very good, therefore Thailand carries out international trade activities through export activities with PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja in order to cover ihe countryls shortcomings. PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja carried out the right and good strategy to take advantage of this opportunity, so that PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja could continue to cooperate with Thailand to sell its products. In four consecutive years, from 2012 2015 sales figures for urea fertilizer produced by PT. Srivwidjadja fertilizer continues to increase sharply to Thailand. The theory used in this research is international trade and international strategy and the research method used is descriptive - qualitative, data collection techaiques throegh primary data sources with direct interview methads and also secondary dota obtained through official document searches. official websites, and sources- other data sources. The findings in this study are the strategies used by PT. Pupuk Sriwidjadja has heen good by using several supportive strategies, namely developing innovation, maintaintng good company image and products being traded and applying proper managemeni, and looking for parties who are able to work well together, s that sales of urea fertilizer produced by PT.
