After the emergence of HIV/AIDS in the world became a serious problem, the African Region became one of the areas that was quite large affected by HIV/AIDS. Kenya is one of the East African states that has a large number of HIV cases since the discovery of HIV. Lack of information and full awareness from the government at that time was the main cause of HIV cases spreading rapidly. However, after the formation of the international organization UNAIDS which aims to stop the HIV chain in the world, the number of HIV cases in Kenya has consistently fallen every year. This study aims to find out how the role of UNAIDS in overcoming the HIV/AIDS problem in Kenya in 2015-2019, this study uses the theory of International Organizations and the Role of International Organizations from Clive Archer. In analyzing the role of UNAIDS according to Clive Archer, there are 3 main roles of International Organizations, namely as Instruments, Arenas, and Actors. UNAIDS as an Instrument carries out several Joint Programs with the Kenyan government. UNAIDS as the Arena held National and International forums which discussed HIV issues in Kenya.
