The results of this study aims to explain that the decision taken by the US to withdraw from this agreement was because the US wanted to pursue hegemonic interests from China's domination in the Asia Pacific region. China is not a country that joined in INF treaty. US feels a security dilemma regarding China's militaristic capabilities, especially in developing China's missile weapons which have threatened the security of US-owned air bases in the Asia Pacific region. By deciding to leave the INF treaty, US can exert strategic pressure on China by re-developing nuclear weapons that were previously prohibited in the INF treaty.
