Rubber plantations in Indonesia are one of the plantation commoditas that have an important role in terms of both social and economic terms. Rubber is an export comoditiy that is able to contribute to efforts to increase the country’s foreign exchange. The purpose of this research were: (1) to analyze the characteristics of children of rubber farmers in Ujung Tanjung Village, Banyuasin III District Banyuasin. (2) to analyze the perception of farmers' children in continuing rubber farming in Ujung Tanjung Village, Banyuasin III District Banyuasin, and (3) to analyze the factors that influence the perception of children of rubber farmers in continuing rubber farming to support intergenerational transfer of farming in Ujung Tanjung Village, Banyuasin III District, Banyuasin. The research was carried out at the end of December 2021 in Ujung Tanjung Village. The research method used was a survey method by interviewing children in productive age child in the village of Ujung Tanjung. The sampling method used was a simple random sampling method. The number of farmer households in Ujung Tanjung Village was 430 households. The population of farmer children aged between 15-24 years was 175. The samples taken in this study were 36 samples. The results showed that 1) Characteristics of children of rubber farmers in the dominant age criteria of children of rubber farmers are 15-17 years (61%), for the last education of junior high school graduates as many as 22 people (61%), the length of time farmer children participate in family farming on average is 3 years , and children of farmers are dominated by women with a percentage of 65%. 2) The perception of children of rubber farmers in continuing rubber farming in Ujung Tanjung Village, Banyuasin III District, Banyuasin Regency is in the criteria of being less interested with a total average score of 53.25. It means that in Ujung Tanjung Village, Banyuasin III District, Banyuasin Regency, there is an intergenerational transfer of agricultural business. However, it still requires guidance from both the family and counseling to reassure the perception of the farmer's children. 3) Factors that influence the perception of farmer children in continuing rubber farming to support intergenerational rubber farming transfer activities in logit 1 (less interested) which have a significant effect are land area, participation in family farming, and agricultural extension.
