ANALISIS KEBIJAKAN INDONESIA DALAM MELARANG PRAKTIK IMPOR LIMBAH B3 INTERNASIONAL
This research aims to determine the reasons for the Indonesian Government to continue approving the recommendation for importing non B3 type of waste and decided to issue a policy to prohibit the practice of importing international B3 waste in 2019. The import permit approval is supported by the submission of waste import recommendation permit from the Minister of Industry in 2018 however, at the same time Indonesia was experiencing a drastic 141% increase in plastic waste imports. This research is supported by Simon's Model of Decision Process. The research method used by the writer is descriptive qualitative which aims to describe the facts related to the research problem and then summarized into an appropriate and relevant summary. Data collected through library research, documentation and online data. The results show that issuing recommendations for non-B3 waste and deciding on a policy to prohibit the import of B3 waste through the Minister of Trade Regulation Number 84 of 2019 is a rational decision because it accommodates all the interests that become problems in the practice of importing waste in Indonesia. Keywords: Policy, practice of importing waste, B3 and non-B3
