The Village Owned Enterprise Development Strategy began to be formed to solve the problems that exist in Bumi Kencana Village through the use of village funds to develop businesses managed by BUMDes. This research aims to: 1) to describe how the development of business and the economy BUMDes Makmur Sejahtera; 2) describes how the form of utilization of village allocation funds carried out by BUMDes Makmur Sejahtera; 3) formulating a strategy in the development of BUMDes Makmur Sejahtera which is expected to become a pillar of the National Economy in Bumi Kencana Village, Sungai Lilin District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The research location was chosen based on the consideration that Bumi Kencana Village is one of the villages in Musi Banyuasin Regency which has a business entity named BUMDes Makmur Sejahtera and has received an allocation of funds from the village government. Sampling is based on relevant Stakeholder such as BUMDes Management, Village Apparatus, KUD Members, PKK Mothers, Farmers Groups, and Youth Organizations, Recitation Women. BUMDes Makmur Sejahtera in business and economic development has a big role and responsibility for advancing the business in order to obtain maximum profit. BUMDes requires management who can manage the BUMDes business so that it can run optimally so that it can expand business units which of course have great potential in business development and economic development in Bumi Kencana Village. BUMDes funds are funds that can be used for operational management of BUMDes, used for business units such as rubber auction businesses, LPG gas sales, BRILink transactions and operational allowances for BUMDes management.
