Household consumption is considered as one of the most basic economic supports in a country because the household is the first place to carry out consumption activities. Consumption expenditure for households in the form of food and non-food has always been an impetus for a country's economy because the need and demand for these two expenditure groups will basically continue to increase depending on the conditions in the household. The objectives of this study are: (1) Describe the characteristics of household consumption of farmers in Lubuklinggau Selatan District 1 Lubuklinggau City, (2) Explain the comparison of food and non-food consumption of farmer households in Lubuklinggau Selatan District 1 Lubuklinggau City every month, (3) Analyze Factors influencing household consumption of farmers in South Lubuklinggau District 1. The research method used is survey method and data collection method using interview method with the help of a questionnaire. The study was conducted in March 2021 with a total of 45 households from high, medium, and low income groups. The data processing method used the percentage method and then explained descriptively and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with the help of the SPSS application. The results showed that the characteristics of household food consumption in different household income groups, namely food and non-food consumed always consider nutrition, price and taste. The food to be consumed is decided by the housewife with the frequency of eating 3 times a day. Purchase of clothing and goods once every 1 or 6 months by considering priorities or needs. Health costs incurred using medical treatment for reasons of effectiveness and the need and ownership of a place to live are one's own or private. Comparison of food and non-food consumption expenditures of farmer households in different income groups, it was found that food consumption expenditure was greater than non-food consumption. The factors that influence the consumption of farmer households are the number of household members, the medium household income dummy, and the high household income dummy. While the factors that do not affect the household consumption of farmers are the education of the head of the household and the dummy of high household income
