Rice is a very AMRUZI important food crop in Indonesia because rice is used as a staple food for most of the population in Indonesia and even in Asia. South Sumatra is the fifth largest riceproducing province in Indonesia with a total harvested area of 1 million hectares. Mu sirawas Regency is one of the regencies which is also a rice producing center. Sumber Harta is one of the subdistricts in Musi Rawas Regency which produces rice for the province of South Sumatra. this research are as follows: (1) To find ou The purpose of t how the mechanism of rice procurementin the Bulog Regional Office of South Sumatra & Babylon through the Lubuklinggau Sub Branch Office. (2) Knowing the Determinants of Milling Decisions to Sell Rice to Perum Bulog or not in Sumber Harta Subdistrict, Mu Rawas Regency through the Lubuklinggau Subsi Branch Office. This research was conducted in 6 villages located in Sumber Harta Subdistrict in Madang Village, Sukajaya, Sumber Harta, Sumber Sari, Sukarami Jaya and Sukamulya Village. The location of this re search was determined purposive with the consideration that Sumber Harta District is one of the rice producers in Musi Rawas Regency. The research method used in this study is a survey method. The data used in this study is panel data consisting of time se ries data and cross section data. The sampling method in this study is a census, which is a sampling technique if all members of the population are sampled. The data processing method used in this study uses empirical juridical methods and uses binary logi t regression analysis to answer the first objective. The results of the study show that the mechanism for the procurement of rice from Perum Bulog at the Lubuklinggau SubBranch Office is only through one procurement flow, namely the work unit flow (SATKER ) or also known as the task force (SATGAS). There are determinants of the decision to sell rice to Perum Bulog or not in the District of Sumber Harta, Musi Rawas Regency through the Lubuklinggau SubBranch Office, including the price of rice, the age of th e farmer and the production of rice.
