PEMANFAATAN TEPUNG DAUN INDIGOFERA (Indigofera sp.) DALAM PAKAN UNTUK PENINGKATAN KECERAHAN WARNA PADA IKAN MAS KOKI (Carassius auratus)
Goldfish is one of the ornamental fish commodities that is growing quite rapidly in Indonesia. Goldfish have a unique body shape and coupled with an attractive color is a very strong reason to be liked by many people. This study aims to determine the best dose of indigofera leaf flour in feed to increase the color of goldfish. This research was conducted in May–June 2021, at the Fisheries Basic Laboratory, Aquaculture Study Program, Department of Fisheries, Sriwijaya University. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications, namely without indigofera leaf meal (P0), giving 5% indigofera leaf meal in the feed (P1), giving 10% indigofera leaf meal in the feed (P2), giving flour indigofera leaves 15% in feed (P3), ornamental fish feed (P4). The parameters observed were the increase in color brightness of goldfish, absolute growth of goldfish, feed efficiency and survival rate. The results of the study of the addition of indigofera leaf meal to feed had a significant effect on the brightness of goldfish color but did not significantly affect absolute growth of goldfish, feed efficiency and survival rate. The best value for increasing color brightness at a dose of 5% indigofera leaf flour is the head 19.59, the back is 24.14 and the tail is 21.94 with an average value of 21.75.
