The Middle East is renowned for having a high potential due to its quantity of oil resources. Oil resources have become an essential asset of the Middle East area due to its high value. This has an influence on the competition between nations for dominance over oil in the Middle East area, particularly Saudi Arabia, which is located in the center of the region. All of the advantages that Saudi Arabia enjoys from its possession of these oil riches make it a well-respected country in the Middle East. As a result, Saudi Arabia has a national interest in maintaining its position as one of the world's biggest oil suppliers. Saudi Arabia has made several choices and taken numerous steps to guarantee the smooth operation of the national interest in oil as a source of state income. Based on this background, the purpose of this study was to understand how Saudi Arabia's national interest in oil in the Middle East in 2015-2020. By applying qualitative descriptive research methods, the data in this study were obtained through literature study. According to the findings of the research, Saudi Arabia has concerned in the security of its borders with other nations and builds fortifications against its adversary, Iran. Saudi Arabia is also concerned with the economic element, specifically ensuring that oil remains steady and lucrative. In order to preserve security and a decent international order, Saudi Arabia also regulates the flow of oil transactions in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia's numerous policies, particularly those released between 2015 and 2020, are impacted by a number of variables, many of which are also connected to the dynamics of the global oil market.
