STRATEGI PEMBERDAYAAN KOMUNITAS DIGITAL GENERASI PESONA INDONESIA(GENPI) REGIONAL SUMATERA SELATAN
This research examines and examines the Strategy for Empowering the Digital Community of the Generation of Pesona Indonesia (GenPI) Regional South Sumatra. This study aims to identify how the strategy has been carried out in the South Sumatra regional GenPI digital community. The strategy in question is an effort or method to achieve a goal in community empowerment. The method used in this research is descriptive with qualitative analysis and case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. This study seeks to determine strategies in the form of planning, identification and maintenance using Max Weber's theory of social action. The results of this study indicate that there are social actions carried out by individuals as actors in the South Sumatra GenPI community, namely community members and administrators. These actions include instrumental rational action, value-based action, affective action and traditional action. In planning, information about the community is obtained which is voluntary and is followed by members with various professions who are interested in tourism and the formation of work programs in the community. Then at the identification stage, the researcher's efforts to find, collect, record and find what activities are carried out in the form of community involvement to create digital destinations, training, workshops, gatherings and online and offline activities. The obstacles faced by the South Sumatran GenPI community are due to time, budget and availability of member resources. In addition, there is maintenance as an achievement and collaboration carried out by the community both with the department, company and local community.
