IDENTIFIKASI SECARA MORFOLOGI PATOGEN PENYEBAB PENYAKIT LAYU PADA TANAMAN CEMARA LILIN (Cupressus sempervirens) DI SUMATERA SELATAN
Spruce is an evergreen plant, that is, its leaves are always green throughout the year, neither dry out nor fall off easily. The candle fir plant has branched branches on large branches that look like needles and bear fruit like small conifers, the leaves are small, small and pointed. Candle fir plants are not very popular with the public but are often used as ornamental plants in the yard or plants. Ceratocystis fimbriata is a pathogen that causes stem rot disease in stem canker, root rot, fruit rot, and vascular wilt, causing death. The fungus Ceratocystis sp. the cause of stem rot disease whose presence is always accompanied by wounds, both natural wounds and artificial wounds caused by insect vector attacks, as well as incisions caused by humans, the presence of gummosis and the leaves turn brown and dry. This research was conducted from August 2021 to December 2021. A survey was conducted in five districts in South Sumatra, namely Palembang City, Prabumulih City, Ogan Ilir Regency, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, and Musi Banyuasin Regency using (purposive sampling). Identification was carried out at the Phytopathology Laboratory and Koch's Postulate Test was carried out in the shadow house of the Department of Plant Pests and Diseases, Plant Protection Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 6 replications with 60 days of observation. The results showed that Ceratocystis fimbriata could indeed attack candle pine plants, with an average lesion length of (CLC1) 1.05 b, (CLC2) 1.30 bc, CLC3) 1.97 c.
