STUDI PEMANFAATAN RUMEN RUMINANSIA SEBAGAI BIOAKTIVATOR DAN STARTER AGENT PADA P, K DAN KTK KOMPOS PELEPAH KELAPA SAWIT
This study aims to determine the quality of compost based on P, K, CEC, of compost from oil palm fronds with the addition of ruminant rumen bioactivator (goats, cattle and buffalo). The materials used in this study were oil palm fronds and ruminant rumen obtained from the Indralaya, South Sumatra. This research was conducted at the Compost House, Department of Soil, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (RALF) with 2 treatments and 3 replications consisting of 5 bioactivator treatments B0 (without the addition of bioactivator), B1 (EM4 bioactivator), B2 (goat rumen bioactivator), B3 (bovine rumen bioactivator), and B4 (buffalo rumen bioactivator) and 2 starter agent treatments, S1 (chicken coop fertilizer), and S2 (NPK fertilizer). The parameters observed in this study were P (Phosphorus) K (Potassium) CEC (Cation Exchange Capacity). The data obtained were analyzed by ANOVA, if there was a significant difference, it was continued with the 5% Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) test. All of the observed compost parameters met SNI 19-7030-2004 and the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Agriculture Number 261 of 2019. The results showed that the application of goat bioactivator and chicken manure starter agent gave effective results with a P value of 0,35%, K value 0,22% and the CEC value is 21,25 me 100g-1
