PERAN WARSI (WARUNG INFORMASI KONSERVASI) TERHADAP PEMBERDAYAAN SUKU ANAK DALAM DI JAMBI
Indonesia is a country that has various ethnicities and ethnic groups. Although Indonesia has experienced rapid progress, there are still parts of Indonesia that have not been touched by progress in the social, economic, cultural and political fields. Generally they are called the Anak Dalam Tribe (SAD), one of the Anak Dalam Tribe, the Orang Rimba. Due to modern times, Forest Entrepreneurs' Rights (HPH) have come, this makes the Orang Rimba difficult because of limited land in their lives. Therefore, Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs), especially WARSI, play an important role in fulfilling the rights of the Orang Rimba. The research entitled "The Role of WARSI (Conservation Information Stalls) and RFN (Rainforest Foundation Norway) on Empowerment of Inner Children in Jambi", has formulated the problem of how the roles of WARSI and RFN and what obstacles are faced by WARSI and RFN. This study aims to explain how the roles of WARSI and RFN in empowering the Orang Rimba and knowing what are the obstacles and challenges that occur in this empowerment. There are three approaches used in this research, namely; (a) The concept of Non-Government Organization refers to solving problems that occur, (b) The concept of a Transnational Advocacy Network, is related to cooperation in overcoming certain issues, and (c) the concept of Empowerment, due to empowerment with the aim of developing human attitudes so that humans it becomes more useful for the environment. While this research method is a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that the Habitat and Resources Management Project aims to restore the customary rights of the Orang Rimba and protect forest areas for the Orang Rimba. Here are some areas in which the project is focused; (a) Develop community potential, (b) Independent individuals, (c) Provide infrastructure and social facilities, (d) Provide forums and training, (e) Protect the rights of jungle people, (d) Obstacles and challenges in the project.
