This research was motivated by a decrease in the number of poor people receiving the ministry of social families of hope program assistance. The purpose of this study was to assess the family hope program in East Jambi District Jambi City in reducing the number of poor people and to determine the supporting factors for the implementation of the hope family program in East Jambi District, Jambi City. The theory used is the Policy Evaluation theory according to William Dunn which consists of six dimensions, namely Effectiveness, Efficiency, Adequacy, Equity, Responsiveness, and Satisfaction. The type of research used is quantitative research with a descriptive approach, with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the family hope program in East Jambi Subdistrict, Jambi City, seen from the dimensions of effectiveness, efficiency, sufficiency, equity, responsiveness, and satisfaction have been fulfilled and implemented well and on target, so that the poor who receive family of hope program assistance are greatly helped. However, in the section, health needs are lower than other dimensions because some have not completed the required documents. In this study the authors also suggest that the Family Hope Program in East Jambi District, Jambi City in order to maintain the performance of the Hope Family Program for the better for the next year and further increase the socialization of document requirements for completing the family hope program.
