The title ofthis research is ”Accountability of Village Financial Management (Study in Kota Agimg village, Kota Agung SubdistrfCt, Lahat District)“. In the management afvillage finance demanded an aspect of good governence where one of the pillars is accountability. The allocation of sufficiently large funds is expected to have a significant impact on the welfare of the village community, and can really be reported and accounted for. The background of this research is the low development in Kota Agung Village. The purpose af this re. earch is to find out how Accountability o[Village Financial Management in Kota Agung Village, Kota Agung Subdistrict, Lahat District. This research was conducted in Kota Agung Village, Kota Agung Subdistrict, Luhat Regency using qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used were in-deptIi interviews, observations, and documentation. In this study researchers have conducted in-depth interviews. The analysis techniques used are data collection reduction, data presentation anJ conclusion drawing. The results of this study inJicate that the accountability of village financial management in Kota Agung Village, Kota Agung Subdistrict, Lahat District has been carried out based on information activities, action activities and response activities. In reporting and accounlability it has been carried out in accordance with a.mechanism based on the provisions even though there are still negligence from village officials and technical managers of activities. The competency of management resources is still the main obstacle, so it still needs assistance from the regional government. To increase accountability in village financial management in Kota Agung Subdistrict, Lahat District, it is necessary to develop, train, supervise and evaluate continuously the village officials.
