Evaluation of Community-Based Water Supply and Sanitation Policy Performance in Karang Menjangan Village, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency is the title of this thesis. This study is prompted by issues with drinking water quality that are not practical, resulting in challenges in obtaining drinking water to meet daily demands. The goal of this study is to assess the effectiveness of PAMSIMAS policies in addressing the problem of insufficient drinking water. In this study, a qualitative method using a descriptive approach was applied. The theory of William N. Dunn is used in this study, along with indicators of effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, alignment, responsiveness, and accuracy. The findings of this study show that the Pamsimas policy has been effective in terms of cost and time, alignment, and accuracy, though there are still flaws in the policy, particularly the quality of drinking water produced, which is unstable due to issues such as broken machines and a lack of community participation in the process. The thesis suggests that the local government, as a servant of the community, should collaborate with experts to assist if there are deficiencies in the implementation of Pansimas, as well as the need to involve the community in every activity in a participatory manner so that not only target groups of people benefit from a policy, but also people who are not target recipients can benefit from it. , the necessity to engage the community in every action in a participatory manner so that not only target groups of people benefit from a policy, but also others who are not target receivers can contribute fresh ideas and thoughts.
