CARA PERBANYAKAN KULTUR FILTRAT JAMUR FUSARIUM SP. DAN TRICHODERMA SPP. DAN EFEKTIVITASNYA TERHADAP PENEKANAN ANTRAKNOSA (COLLETOTRICHUM SP.) BUAH CABAI MERAH (CAPSICUM ANNUUM L.)
Red chili pepper is a variety of chili widely cultivated almost everywhere in Indonesia. The main obstacle is the decrease of yield due to anthracnose disease (Colletotrichum sp.) which directly cause yield losses. One of environmental friendly control measures of the disease is by implementing biological control by using antagonistic fungi able to suppress the growth and development of pathogenic fungi. The objective of this research was to know the effect of filtrate culture of antagonistic fungi on the suppression of anthracnose disease of red chili pepper The experiment was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisted of 25 replicates. The parameter observed was lesion size. Based on the research result, method of reproducing filtrate culture by shaking and two week incubation period could increase conidial density in the culture and produce filtrate fungi Trichoderma spp. which was able to suppress the development of anthracnose disease. The filtrate cultures were of isolates TLTF3 and TLTF8 shaked and incubated for 2 weeks
