IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM PENDEWASAAN USIA PERKAWINAN DI KAMPUNG KELUARGA BERENCANA BABAT KECAMATAN PENUKAL KABUPATEN PENUKAL ABAB LEMATANG ILIR
This research is motivated by the high rate of early marriage in Penukal District, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency, especially in the Family Planning Village of Babat, the lack of information delivery from the Office for Family Planning Population Control, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in a problem, namely Mukun culture, low education level, and youth's lack of interest in listening to radio should be changed using more interesting applications such as YouTube and Instagram. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Marriage Age Maturity Program in the Babat Family Planning Village, Penukal District, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency. The theory used in this research is George C. Edward's policy implementation theory, where the success of policy implementation is influenced by four variables, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. This type of research is descriptive with qualitative methods. Data collection techniques by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Marriage Age Maturity Program in the Babat Family Planning Village, Penukal District, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency seen from the aspects of communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure has been running well from various variable dimensions of George C. Edwards III, although There are still deficiencies, namely in the resource aspect in the information section, namely the existence of a local culture of "Mukun", a low level of education and a lack of youth interest in accessing social media such as YouTube and Instagram. The results of this study suggest that the PUP program should continue to be carried out by explaining to the public about the local culture of "MUKUN", delivering information using local languages that are easily understood by the community, especially teenagers, and increasing the interest of teenagers to access social media more often, namely YouTube and Instagram. which is more updated and interesting in delivering PUP program information.
