Based on Article 66 paragraph (1) of Law Number 30 of 2004 concerning the Position of a Notary as amended by Law Number 2 of 2014, that for the interest of the judicial process, investigators, public prosecutors, or judges with the approval of the Notary Honorary Council in this case are authorized to give approval or rejection summons for a Notary related to the deed he made. This study examines the problem of how the legal arrangements for the position of a notary who provide information in the judicial process in relation to the deed he made, how the legal consequences of a notary who provide information in the judicial process relating to the deed he made without the approval of the Notary Honorary Council, and how legal protection is against a notary who provides information in the judicial process relating to the deed he made. This type of research is a normative legal research that uses a statutory approach, a conceptual approach, and a historical approach. This is done by researching legal materials consisting of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials with library material collection techniques and interviews, then material analysis techniques using descriptive analysis, and deductive conclusion drawing techniques. The results of the study according to the author are quite good, but in practice, Article 66 paragraph (1) of Law Number 30 of 2004 concerning the Position of a Notary as amended by Law Number 2 of 2014 is for the benefit of the judicial process, investigators, public prosecutors, or judges with the approval of the authorized notary is still not in accordance with the applicable regulations. As a result, the notary is summoned without the approval of the Notary Honorary Council in the judicial process regarding the validity of his actions by law enforcement officials and the legal consequences are null and void. And legal protection for notaries is protection in the form of approval or rejection from the Honorary Council of Notaries and forms of legal protection are the obligation to deny and the right to disobey a notary
